Perfecting those drop-cuts to minimise the chisel work on tenons…
But still chiseling to pare down the tenons to the right dimensions and shape…
And making sure everything is in the right plane to drift easily into its assigned place…
Triple checking and re-working where necessary…
Making things really square and level and checking the fit…
And stopping for a bit of food…
Before starting the whole process over with the next bit.
